I recently shared a video I created (with the fantastic Caresse Haaser) that explored the spaces of the open web in contrast to the more closed environments that have dominated our recent online experiences. As part of that project, we shared the source materials on GitHub and asked for others to translate the meditation into other languages in order to share the message more broadly.
At the St. Étienne International Design Bienniale last month, I had the pleasure of sharing the stage for a live French translation, which you can see here (at approximately 01hr 53min in the video).
Today, I’m excited to share a Japanese version of the open web meditation, which was produced by my colleague Eriko Kawakami.
